Tips for My DIY Wedding Invitations
If you wish to try and cut the cost of your wedding why don’t you try and make your own wedding invitations.
There are a lot of designs and colours to choose from to suit your wedding theme. Some tips for the Brides or Grooms are if they wish to purchase silver or gold pens and ask one of your friends or relatives if they are good at hand writing.
If they can find a volunteer to write the words on my DIY Wedding Invitations then their invitations can look classy and professional and just as good as the pre-printed invitations. By using rulers you can create beautiful designs and borders on your wedding invites. By squiggles and circles your world is your oyster. If you prefer you can trace the designs onto the wedding invites first then when you are happy with your design you can go over your unique creation with your coloured pens. All sorts of shapes and sizes can be used for the invitations. You can use a single sheet for your invite. You can have a plain rectangle card or have a theme designed in the background. Another type of invitation is an enveloped style with a regal theme to the invite. Try a ribbon sealing the outside of the wedding invite and to add a touch of drama add a royal seal to hold the ribbon and envelope in place. You can use the colours of your wedding as the seal and ribbon. IE, gold and burgundy. Another idea is a scroll style of wedding invitations. Again you can wrap a ribbon around the outside after rolling the invitation in a circle. The outside of the invitations can be decorated in a wedding theme and colour of your choice. A favourite wedding invitation is a card which opens in the middle and is sealed with a ribbon which guests need to remove before viewing the beautiful wedding invitation.
